Homecoming Sunday

Homecoming Sunday

Sunday, October 25, 2026 – 10 a.m.

You’re invited!

Whether Wicker Park Lutheran has been part of your life for decades, you’re rediscovering the community, or you’re exploring a church for the first time, we hope you’ll join us for Homecoming Sunday!

We’re gathering to celebrate our faith, renew friendships, welcome new faces, and enjoy time together.

What to Expect

A morning filled with worship, connection, and celebration. Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, there’s a place for you!

Wear Red!

Celebrate Reformation Sunday by wearing red, the liturgical color of the day.

Music & Worship

Join us for meaningful worship, moving music, and a special children’s message.

Annual Photo

Be part of our congregational picture! Joining online? Email your photo to photos@wickerparklutheran.org by October 24.

Potluck Brunch

Stay after worship for a giant potluck brunch! Bring something to share if you can, but everyone is welcome at the table.

Share something at brunch

Everyone is invited to stay for our giant potluck following worship! If you’re able, sign up to bring food or lend a hand. You don’t need to bring anything to attend.

Homecoming online?

You are part of this celebration, too! Worship begins at 10 a.m. Send your photo to photos@wickerparklutheran.org by Saturday, October 24, to be included in our annual congregational picture.

Where to find us

In case you forgot, we’re at 1500 N Hoyne Ave. Chicago, IL 60622. Free street parking is available nearby. The church is also accessible by CTA, and our renovated facilities provide step-free access.
