Cecilie Walsh joined the Wicker Park Lutheran staff as parish assistant in July 2005. Except for four years in California, Ceci is a life-long Chicagoan. She is a graduate of St. Luke’s School on Belmont and was confirmed at that school’s parish, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Luke. Formerly a licensed insurance agent, Ceci has worked for GE Financial Assurance and Illinois Public Action as a fundraiser. She also worked for eleven years as the office manager for a physician. Since 1997, Ceci has taken advanced computer courses and maintains a family genealogy website that she started with other family members.
